Tehran, Jan. 13 - Iranian authorities on Thursday hanged five men in Khoramabad, western Iran, a day after hanging eight others in the capital Tehran.The five men were accused of drug smuggling, the state broadcaster reported on its website. They were not named.
Seven of the men hanged on Wednesday were also accused of drug smuggling while an eighth man, hanged in Tehran's notorious Evin Prison, was accused of rape, the official news agency IRNA reported.
Authorities routinely execute dissidents on bogus charges such as armed robbery and drug trafficking.
At least 20 prisoners were hanged in the first eight days of 2011.
Dealing with a problem, needs an understanding about that problem. If the US as a major PLAYER in this ordeal wants to PREVENT a criminal regime, namely the mullahs' regime, from getting a deadly weapon in its "COLLECTION", she (US) has to be firm, and before anything else, FAIR! What I mean by that is as follows:

- for its "MAJOR WAR" needs major CRISIS; A tactic learned from the dead khomeini,
- the so called "nuclear CRISIS" is a good COVER UP for its INTERNAL WAR in IRAN,
- any ACTION ignoring these facts would be COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE, the mullahs love it too,
- the US has tried this policy of "TALKING TO THE BEAST" and ignoring the people,
- the mullahs are using the situation and these policies are helping them,
- IT IS TIME TO CHANGE THE COURSE & SIDE WITH THE PEOPLE IN IRAN,
- IT IS TIME TO WEAKEN THE MULLAHS BY HELPING THE PEOPLE IN IRAN,
- IT IS TIME TO LEARN FROM THE MISTAKES IN THE PAST; remember 1953,
- EVERY 8 HOURS ONE EXECUTION;
